Mark Enlow recently discussed the importance of the North Bay Children’s Center.
The North Bay Children’s Center (NBCC) has been transforming lives in San Francisco for over 30 years. Mark Enlow, a $ 1 million donor to this organization, recently spoke about the many accomplishments of the North Bay Children’s Center.
“I am grateful that I can support this organization and all the good it creates for the children and entire families in the area,” said Mark Enlow. “I hope this contribution will help the North Bay Children’s Center continue to thrive and provide more services than ever before.
The North Bay Children’s Center was created with a mission to provide all children with equal access to the best possible future. The organization works towards this mission in many ways, including providing healthy meals to children in schools, offering child care to working parents, and providing unique educational opportunities.
“This organization is feeding the children of North Bay in multiple waves,” said Mark Enlow. “The goal is to help children progress socially, academically and emotionally, so that they can flourish. “
Enlow explained that experts at the North Bay Children’s Center believe that the early education and care of a child is critical to their future success. This facility provides the highest quality education to prepare children for school. Programs include health and wellness, self-sufficiency, school readiness, and more.
North Bay Children’s Center programs are available for infants, toddlers, young preschoolers, preschoolers and older children. Before and after school programs are available as well as summer camps.
“The North Bay Children’s Center was one of the very first children’s education programs to integrate nutrition education into the daily curriculum,” said Enlow. “This is just one way to see that the organization really cares about our young people. Quality instructors are always on the lookout for new ways to give children and families the support they need to live better lives, now and in the future.
The NBCC is dedicated to bridging the gap between upper and lower class families. Children who grow up in economically secure families have an advantage over those who don’t, and the NBCC strives to provide upward mobility for those who may not have the same opportunities as others. The organization relieves workers and single-parent families by providing top-quality child care services that prepare their little ones to become highly educated and skilled workers as well.
Mark Enlow has been recognized for his million dollar donation to the North Bay Children’s Center as well as for the many other charitable contributions he has made throughout the region. It is clear that he, too, hopes to create a better future for the children of North Bay.
